No Camera in Tow...

No camera with me, but my boys' had AWESOME basketball games tonight. Joey had his friend Jayden over afterschool... they played Lego Star Wars Wii game. They play on the same team and play well together. Joey has found his stride has a defensive player AND knows what to do offensively... he had a couple of shots and some nice plays.

After Joey's game (which was on the farthest side of town), he asked if we could go to Stefan's game and watch the end of it. From a mom's perspective... that is the sweetest request ever! I would have driven for an hour at that request. We made it to Stefan's game with 20 minutes left. Stefan played AWESOME according to his dad. We watched Stefan have some good plays... but he had the game ending shot... he go the ball, dribbled to the other end of the court... through players, etc. and pulled up on the outside right side... he made it... SWISH! It was great. When I asked him about it later, he said that he thought for sure it was going to be an air ball... not our Stefan... nothin' but net!

YEAH boys!

Stratego Anyone?

Joey is trying hard to learn this game. He got it for Christmas. Only Dad can play it with him. Maybe someday Joey will win... that is his ultimate goal.

Do you like Green Eggs & Ham?

Beaches (the Restaurant) sponsored Green Eggs & Ham for the entire 1st grade at school. Each child was given a hat, breakfast, the principal read fro the famous book and they donated a Green Eggs & Ham to each class plus 2 copies for the library. They also had prizes to give away for the adults... sadly, I didn't win. But, I had a great time with Stefan this morning!

Umm... maybe a little embarrassed at first, but very glad to have Mom at the breakfast.

Mom... I do not like Green Eggs and Ham... but I do like my fruit roll-up!

Stefan's friend Mackenzie... sadly, her family is moving... but we love having her over to our house to play!

Stefan loved the Green Eggs & Ham breakfast... so did I... although, I'm not a huge fan of green eggs... the sight of them does something to flip-flop my tummy!

Emmi's fun weekend!

The preschool sponsored a sock hop as part of the 20th year celebration activities. Emmi and I went together. She loved the parachute, the limbo, spinning and hula hooping...




She liked the licorice too!

She made this card for me at preschool... isn't it cute?!?!?
