Spring Break with a little sun!

For most of the week it was cold. We even had a fire going in the pellet stove. We stayed home, had friends over to play, organized a bit, read and just enjoyed.

Finally, the sun decided to show it's face for the weekend and it was gorgeous!

We got together with the Nesbitts for a little baseball practice and dinner on Sunday afternoon.

Christmas Family Night

This was our last Christmas family night at the preschool. We've been to 6 of them over the years... 2 for Joey, 2 for Stefan and Emmi has had 3 (She and Stefan overlapped for 1 of them.) Because I play the role of Mommy and Teacher for the night, it is always crazy and busy, however, when I look back at the pictures I'm filled with much emotion.

Beautiful Emmi and her beautiful friend C
laire(both with their sparkly tights)... there is little man peeking around the back. Too cute!

Burgerville

Emmi went on her Burgerville field trip today with her friend Claire. I was working, so Claire and her mommy graciously let Emmi hang out with them... they also went to the library, had lunch together, watched a movie, played dress-up and had a milkshake... what a day!

Claire and Emmi... both in pink!

Miss Sandy, Claire and Emmi... so cute!

Friends Visiting

It's a "No-School" day... last night we talked about why there is no school today. The boys actually could tell me why... to remember our Veteran's. For the boys' the better deal is having friends come to play... my camera battery is charging... I'll post photos later... my couch cushions have become "the pit". Oh, it should be an interesting day. The best part, so far, was sitting, chatting and drinking coffee with my friend, Tracy. We'll see what else I'll be in store for!
