The computer has arrived, it is set up and ready to work. It was a long 2 weeks. I can't believe I was without it for that long. You would think that it would be a welcome break, but no, it was torture!
It's the first day of school for Joey and Stefan. We went to the school last night to meet their teachers. They both seem nice. Oh, here they come. Time to get them ready. Joey just mentioned he's nervous and Stefan chimed in, "Me too." Should be an interesting morning.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Those of you who know me well know that I am not a big Valentine's day celebrater. Sure, I get my kids some chocolate, I help them write their valentine cards for their friends, do a little something special for their teachers... but that's about it. Joe wished me a happy V-day and I just smirked and wished him the same. I don't know... not a fan.
I do, however, appreciate thoughtfulness... so I'm trying to work on that... all the time. The parents at school gave the teachers their first-ever luncheon. It was so nice and thoughtful. They appreciate us... here is what we were given...

that is one very large cupcake int he pot, a cd and chocolate. We are all very grateful!

Back to Reality
Today, we all go back to work and school. Last week the boys had to go back, but really it was only Joey as Stefan was in school for only 1 day. Joe was up early and headed into the office for a meeting. I am taking my "ME" time... I do that now from 6 to 7am. It is great.
I get so excited to return to school. I slept last night, but it was a restless sleep.
Need coffee... be right back.
It 's nice to return to our routine, but even better to get to see all of those little faces today. Should be a good day. Em is a little nervous about getting back to school. I'm sure we will have a little attitude, but she will be fine. She has come so far. She is recognizing many letters now. Very exciting. She let me know that I was working too much this weekend, so we took a time out to play a game. She chose Monopoly Jr. I was stunned. I thought it was too hard for her. You know what, never underestimate your child. She did great!
Have a good one....
